THE CRYSTAL LABYRINTH
A 200 foot diameter labyrinth - possibly the largest labyrinth in the world - surrounded and centered by quartz crystals. We are located in the beautiful area of Central New York called Brookfield (about 30 miles south of Utica) in a field on a mountaintop surrounded with a hardwood forest. Fall is a most beautiful time of year, although every season seems more beautiful than the one before. My name is Marianne Noller and I am the The Labyrinth keeper. I was inspired to build a sacred labyrinth in July of 2000. Standing in the field in my back yard I could feel a great and powerful energy and knew that something very special should be in this place. I remember saying just that. The following week I was presented with information about a labyrinth which I had never heard about before. I really didn't know what a labyrinth was. I received information 3 times that week and decided that this was the wonderful thing that should be in the field. As soon as I made that decision I began receiving great gifts that I knew in my heart were for the labyrinth. First I received a gift of almost 200 bushes and shrubs from a dear friend. Now how many times does that happen in a lifetime. It never had before to me. I purchased a book "Walking the Sacred Path by Dr. Lauren Artress" and searched the web for info on building my Labyrinth. I did all the work myself including planting 142 bushes and trees in that first 6 weeks, but each year I have planted more, actually it's an ongoing passion that will last for all my life. This Labyrinth is based on a 13 point star and at each point of the star I have planted a tree and a quartz crystal. That same first week I also received a gift of 33 quartz crystals from other dear friend who knew nothing of my decision to build a labyrinth and so I decided to call my labyrinth "The Crystal Labyrinth" and surrounded it with crystals. 13 on the outer edge and 13 in the center. 26 so far. This wonderful Crystal Labyrinth was dedicated and blessed by the Reverend June Rose Veach on September 17, 2000. I began finding very large rocks in the summer of 2002 and had a gentleman with a bulldozer place them at the star points. I don't have all thirteen yet but will continue working on that. Each year it becomes more beautiful and the air traffic is getting very busy here. It fills me with Love and Peace each time I walk on it. I hope it will do the same for you. Email me at crystallabyrinth2000@yahoo.com for an appointment to walk this beautiful Crystal Labyrinth. Any donation will be accepted and greatly appreciated but not necessary. In Love and Peace..... New FriendsSidney and Abby meet for the very first time at the park in Brookfield.
Sidney is 18 Months old and Abby is 14 Months old.
They along with many other children enjoyed a warm day at the park.
Brookfield added a play area for children last year and it was much needed.
While older sisters and brothers are playing baseball, softball or soccer, these tikes now have something to do as well.

One Sweet Story! When I was a young child our school took a field trip to a maple sugar house to see how they made maple syrup and candy. the boilers (evaporators) were huge and they gathered the syrup with metal buckets. As I talked with the folks from Ben and Judy's I learned quickly that times have changed.
This sugarhouse starts it's process not with buckets but with over ten miles of lines that are all connected to trees that lead to a large holding tank. Instead of gravity, they have actual pumps that draw the syrup to the tanks. Once the syrup is gathered it is brought to the sugarhouse where the stainless steel syrup-making evaporator performs its magic.

Bald Eagles In Sherburne, NYMarch 14th Aaron Boise
While driving to Norwich on Rt. 12 about one mile south of Sherburne
I was surprised to see this Bald Eagle sitting in a tree about 100 feet from the road. The Majestic Bald Eagle is not known to reside in this part of the northeast but I hope this means they are checking in to stay. While I shot many photos I discovered there are actually two pair.
