As they say "spring has sprung".I have lived in upstate New York all my 69 years and Spring never ceases to amaze me. It sure is a compelling illustration of the resurrection and the miracles of creation. Like many Brookfielders we have been impatient to plant our garden but now we can ( I hope}. Jesus used many illustrations from nature just as did many Old Testament people. Matthew 13 is a classic text with lessons from how to plant, the problem with weeds, and the story of the mustard seed. Check it out for yourself.

We have all been impacted by the current financial crisis. I have heard some comments like " If you are broke, a good place to go is WORK." and "If you are broke don't buy a house, why do you think they call those people Real Estate Brokers?" God says in Isaiah 1:23 "Thy princes are rebellious, and companions of thieves;every one loveth gifts, and followeth after rewards ...." sounds familiar does it not? Proverbs 3:5,6 is what we all need " Trust in the Lord with all thine heart and lean not unto your own understnding. In all thy ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct thy paths."
